This year’s event is an after hours at Tiburon Golf Club at 10302 S. 168th St. in Omaha. There is a $5.00 per person charge and reservations and payment must be received by April 1 here at the Chamber. There will be refreshments galore and a grand prize of golf for a foursome including cart. Let’s show what WDCCC is made of by having a big turn out.

Plan to attend and help us congratulate this year’s Scholarship Award Winners. A special thank you goes to Hayes Environmental for once again sponsoring the Hayes Environmental Science & Math Scholarship. A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior from each of the following schools: Bennington, Elkhorn and DC West High Schools.

WDCCC will also be awarding a $1,000 scholarship to a graduating senior from each of the schools as well.

This year’s guest speaker will be Douglas Christensen, Commissioner of Education for the Nebraska Department of Education. Mr. Christensen is serving in his 14th year in this role.
